Volunteering at The Blessing Way

Since its inception, The Blessing Way has counted on volunteers to help accomplish its mission, especially in delivering the services we provide to our clients. Our volunteers range from 18 to retirement age and come from all walks of life. We value this diversity and try to match a volunteer’s interests, experiences and skills to a position that will be enjoyable and challenging, and have an impact on the clients we serve. There are positions for volunteers to work on-site or at home, with others or alone, from a few hours a month to up to 20 hours a week for interns. We ask for a commitment of at least four months, and there is a trial period in which volunteers can determine if a given position is a good fit.

Many of our volunteers serve as Job Coaches in our Job Assistance program, which we hold on Monday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. Below is a sample of volunteer positions which are available.
