This summer, we partnered with The Center to Advance the Participation of Minorities in Construction to offer youth in Providence a job with training in the trades. Through an $89,000 awarded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, we provided a 13-week job readiness and training program in carpentry and construction to young ex-offenders.
